Mr. Brown’s background includes managing future satellite and terminal architecture for the premier unit in the Department of Defense, the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC). Previous positions included program management of satellite systems for the Joint Communications Unit (JCU); during this tenure he was awarded Civilian of the Quarter during three consecutive years culminating in the award for Civilian of the Year for 2012. After being named Civilian of the Year, Mr. Brown accepted the position of Telecommunications Manager and was promoted to JSOC headquarters to manage the Satellite Architecture and associated Terminal Development Program within the JSOC J6 Development Transmissions Division, a position held since 2013.
At JSOC, Mr. Brown was successful in implementing some of the newest satellite architectures with the highest data throughput in the Department of Defense.
