CONTEC is a spin-off company from KARI(Korea Aerospace Research Institute) which was established in 2015 on Jan.5th, and doing the business for design, development and integration of ground system in the space and satellite image application service.
Today, CONTEC’s 12 global ground stations with 16 antennas across the world and
telescopes in the Middle East and South Korea will be ready. Thus, Contact Time between satellites and ground stations will go up and a larger volume of imagery will be available for download
in near real time CONTEC is actively engaged in talks with domestic local governments
to use the satellite imagery across various segments, including urban change detection,
maritime and junk monitoring and crop yield forecast
In addition, CONTEC is preparing various educational and entertainment events to
meet the target of launching CONTEC Sat by 2023. ​The goal of enterprise creates the meaningful value in the world, CONTEC will try to make the new value in the world for our valuable customers in this field.
